The bottom line is this product does not have
1) N 6200 wireless card ( dual band) as mentioned by Sony VIAO.
2) it has 1000 BGN link wireless card which is not compatible with the chipset
I have returned 3 laptops ( made mistake 3 times)
though i have not bought it from Amazon, but I believe the laptop has an issue since I had bought from 2 different vendors
1) office max (very bad) will never buy any thing from them
2) circuit city

Portable "14.1 inch"
Good battery life (1 1/2 hrs on high perf, 3 hrs on powersaver)
Awesome graphics
Very fast and easy to setup
Love the keyboard. It is not cheaply made, very comfortable
The touchpad is decent, good feeling.
A lot of free space memory "400GB"
Cons:
Sound performance should of been better since it is a $1,000 retailed price
It has a bad quality sound when turning the sound on max
Webcam should of been better as well and not as much features on it.
All in all I give it a 8.5/10
I would recommend this to anyone who wants an above decent laptop.

(More customer reviews)I purchased a Sony Vaio and its been are real disappointment. The computer is packed with so much junk programs including Norton and various weird Sony programs that run in the background, slowing the computer down considerably. There are so many programs running in the background, it provides Windows 7 with poor performance. Start-up is slow and starting small programs can take several minutes. I do not recommend Vaio's since Sony has chosen to add every commercial program available. It appears they did not run these programs on their own computers to determine the degraded performance. The programs found were several Norton programs, including the anti-virus program, several Sony programs the made start-up a five minute process with Windows 7, Yahoo and Microsoft messengers, Arc Soft and Windows Live, none of these programs are necessary, but they slow down your computer. Its taken several weeks to remove these programs.
