The bottom line is this product does not have
1) N 6200 wireless card ( dual band) as mentioned by Sony VIAO.
2) it has 1000 BGN link wireless card which is not compatible with the chipset
I have returned 3 laptops ( made mistake 3 times)
though i have not bought it from Amazon, but I believe the laptop has an issue since I had bought from 2 different vendors
1) office max (very bad) will never buy any thing from them
2) circuit city

(More customer reviews)I always thought vaio's were out of my budget, but at amazon it was much cheaper than anywhere else, and even cheaper than an equivalent dell with my stundent discount. I chose this computer because it is pretty light, has a decent keyboard, a lot of memory, and big hard drive, great for the simulations I run. The only things I didn't like is that the screen reflects too much (but I guess all the new computers are like that now), the mouse click is kinda lound, the cd drive seems a bit fragile and squeaks, and it did not come with the windows cd in case I need to reinstall it. I got this computer only a couple of months a go, so I can't tell how durable it is. The battery seems to last 4hr at the most, which I believe is standard. I mostly use it plugged in. You might be able to buy a battery that lasts longer and put in it.

(More customer reviews)Bought this for my wife and she loves it. The keys have a good spacing between them, much better than cheaper flat style keys found on most laptops in this category. It is quick for most tasks, even playing HD video content, doesn't run hot and is quiet. I think specs are good for the price. Battery lasts 5 hour on average. It did cost a little more when it came out first, but now it's in the same ballpark as other Fusion-based laptops. Overall a very nice product from Sony.

(More customer reviews)As a user of the KB-11 keyboard I looked forward to using the KB-100. I was very pleased with the contruction and the size but less so with the decreased functionality. Where I could use keyboard commands almost exclusively on the KB-11 I now have to use the stylus for "OK", "Done", "Cancel", and almost every other command. I am sure that Sony will eventually offer an updated driver that will permit combination keys to activate these commends but in the meantime I am forced to keep a stylus in hand.
The other negative factor is the location of the shift key but we humans will adapt to that.
