Sony VAIO Extended Rechargeable Battery Pack Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This battery is extremely overpriced. If you are using 32 bit operating system you can use generic batteries less than half price. But if you are using 64 bit operating system, no chance you have to buy this original overpriced battery

SONY VGP-BPS3A Additional Standard Battery Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Came from overseas to the US and my laptop battery died. The laptop was only one year old however I was unable to get a replacement in any shop in Houston including the SonyStyle shop. Returned to my hotel and ordered it at amazon.com and had 2 days later in my room. And it was 20% cheaper than in Europe. So in case you travel to the US and stay there more than 4 days and you need an electronic spare or replacement, compare the prices and buy it there.

Laptop Battery for Sony Vaio PCG VGN-AR VGN-CR VGN-NR VGN-SZ Series, PN: VGP-BPS9 VGP-BPS9A/B VGP-BPL9 (Silver) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)When I ordered this battery for my Sony CR series laptop I was under the impression that it was a genuine Sony battery. The title of the item does say "by Sony", but I was wrong. The battery arrived and I knew it was not a Sony battery right away. There was no box, which genuine sony batteries always come in because I have purchased severeal in the past. The battery arrived with a small disc that looked like someone had made on there home computer. The instructions said to run the disc if the computer does not recognize the battery. Huh? What the heck? I ordered this battery because it said it was for my computer model, now they say it might not work! I put the battery in and nothing. The computer gave me a message saying the battery was not compatible. I did reluctatnly try to run the disc, but it would not run. I went to windows explorer to look at the disc contents and it was blank. Needless to say, this was a big waste of money and my time. I contacted the seller and sent the battery back. Still waiting for my refund. My advice... only by a genuine Sony battery.

Sony VGP-BPS3A Laptop Battery Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The item being offered here is a Sony VGP-BPS3A battery "by Sony." The item I received was a Deckcell VGP-BPS3 battery. The battery looks exactly like a VGP-BPS3A battery, but it's NOT compatible with my product. The seller has been contacted and a refund has been requested. This review is to advise potential buyers that the item is NOT a Sony battery and the item received was not the VGP-BPS3(A) battery as requested. Buyer beware.

(More customer reviews)The battery was only charged at 21%, the computer could not recognize the battery and the CD that was to reformat the BIOS did not work (instructions were filled with typos, mis-information and all disclaimers), there is ZERO customer service when I tried to remedy. THEN, when you return the product, they want to hold your refund for FOUR weeks. Proceed at your own risk!!!!!!!!!!!!
