Sony VAIO VGN-NW330F/S 15.5-Inch Laptop (Silver) Review

(More customer reviews)My problem was the same as Carla's problem stated here. The laptop is gorgeous, but it makes loud noises, frequently freezes on me, followed by unplanned restarts. After each weird restart is the same black screen saying "no operating system recognized". And I had to unplug everything including the battery to reset it. The last time that happened, the machine is no longer able to restart!!! I read Carla's problem and didn't believe that would happen to me! Obviously I was WRONG!!! Luckily I'm still able to return it!

On a serious note... Intel has long been surpassing AMD in quality of CPUs. Though AMD is much cheaper. I needed a multi-core processor for my concurrency/parallel programming course, and my old laptop a Dell XPS died. The HD that it comes with is small. I was not worried about that, because that is an easy upgrade. The things you can`t upgrade in your laptop, the cpu, the video card, the feel, etc. Those are the things I was more concerned about.
