(More customer reviews)This drive looks great and it's quite compact, which makes it a good choice. HOWEVER, it does not work without external power and cannot run on USB power alone. This significantly restricts its usefulness as a DVD drive for a laptop. There are many good external drives out there that run on USB alone, so this is a dealbreaker.
