I had a CW series laptop, and the cheap price lured me in to taking a risk to see if "C series" was compatible with my "CW series". It is not. Currently this item is rated at 4 stars, so that is what I rated, just to post this info for everyone else to see without skewing the results too much. Here is what the box label says:
*Connectors: DC IN x1, USB2.0 (High/Full/Low) x3, Ethernet network connector x1, Monitor connector (VGA) x1, Monitor connector (DVI-D) x1
*For use only with Sony VAIO personal computer VGN-C series.
*Use the unit with an AC adapter that is compatible with your notebook. See also the manuals provided with your Sony notebook for more information
*DVI function not available for use on computers with internal (shared) graphis.
The item did arrive in nice, protective original packaging even though it was refurbished. It didn't look "refurbished" in any way (it wasn't scratched, didn't have grease smudges, etc). It would be an awesome deal if it would work with my laptop :)
