I will start with the good, the keyboard is gergeous, light and the keys feel great when you are typing. It's nearly silent as you press the keys. There are light indicators with low battery light, internet connection light and search light. It also has a small black and white lcd screen for caps lock and number lock.
Now the criticisms
These lights are very usefull, however, the connection light does not stay on when you are connected. It only turns on once to let you know its connected. This can be a problem because the connection turns off if you dont use the keyboard after a certain amount of time. This is done to conserve the batteries. So if you havent used it for a period of time you dont know if your still connected. If you are disconnected, you touch the keypad and it turns on again. It takes about a second to reconnect but its enough to have to wait to type your first letter. This is not a big deal if you are web surfing or typing on word so the constant use wont allow the keyboard to turn off but if you walk out of the room for a few minutes you'll have to wait a second for the keyboard to reconnect. As I said it's a small gripe since this should not happen often if your using it. Another problem is everyonce in a while, a letter will get stuck typing over and over as if your finger is pressing the key without letting go. This happens on ocassion and could really annoy you if your in the middle of typing. I had to turn off the key board to reset it.
This however leads to the problem, DO NOT USE THIS FOR GAMING! Especially frenetic first person shooters. Lock outs and letters getting stuck will ruin your game. Call me Naive but i wasnt expecting this. It seems this keyboard is meant for casual use not intensive gaming. If you put it in that context the keyboard is great providing great looks and feel, but its definitely not meant for gaming and it does come with some glitches, minor, but it could become aggravating to some. One could argue that my pc blutooth reader could be the problem but I also happen to have a blu tooth mouse and the link never breaks and the buttons never stick virtually.
You must have a blutooth enabled computer to use this by the way. The instalation is a breeze, just place two batteries and turn it on and open your blu tooth management box to register it. You must enter a code given to you on the pc screen to register it. No big deal. You can also connect this to a PS3 which is a big plus.
This keyboard has a lot of potential and I use it for everything except gaming. I have to hook up a wired keyboard to that. If you dont game and dont mind some glitches every once in a while, I would recommend this but i have to give it 3 stars based on the technical issues and the fact that there is no ongoing connection light.
