Definitely different looking but after doing research online decided to go with it. Well, this bag is just great. Like that I can organize everything unlike my messenger bag. Pockets aplenty for every device and bag is made well. Inside uses a bright thick waterproof tarp. The laptop section is in an altogether different part at the back of the bag and is well padded with felt and also waterproof. Very comfortable on my back and feels very natural even when fully loaded. Bag doesn't bounce around even when I'm scrambling for the bus and jaywalking. I still use my messenger bag when I ride my bike but the bumbakpak is great for everyday carrying of laptop gear, heavy folders and books, shoes, and whatever else. My only beef is that it can't be adjusted as a messenger bag well enough. But for use on the back it's unbeatable.
