(More customer reviews)I have been using this for a month now. Takes a long time to charge but takes a looong time to discharge as well when used with VAIO Ultimate Battery configuration. Costs far cheaper than the Sony original. I have only one complaint and I am possibly to blame for it in the first place.
In my excitement to replace my existing 2 year old battery, I inserted this battery while my computer was on AC and I was working on it. I don't know if I should have done it but till today my laptop has never been able to correctly estimate how much battery is left. I use XP and Linux. So my only complaint with this otherwise great product is its lack of providing correct battery state information to my laptop. ( Btw, you need to do a couple of things to get correct battery state info since this is not an original battery and since XP needs to unlearn the battery graph curve. I did all that. The info and other things came in the package so all I had to do was follow instructions.) But still no luck.
